KWAT’s interviews with Watertown political candidates begin this week

WATERTOWN, S.D.–With city elections in Watertown just two weeks away, KWAT News Director Mike Tanner will be interviewing the candidates starting tomorrow (Tuesday), to learn more about them, and their vision and hopes for the city.

First up will be city council candidates Glen Vilhauer (8:30 a.m.) and Dan Schutte (9:00 a.m.).

The rest of this week’s schedule includes council candidates Mike Danforth on Wednesday (8:30), Jason Redemske on Thursday (8:30) and Kay Solberg on Friday (9:00). 

Next week, we visit with Micheal Heuer on June 7th (9:00), Colin Paulsen (8:30), and Josh Weyh (9:00) on June 8th, and Randy Tupper (9:00) on June 9th. 

The mayoral candidates, Ried Holien (8:30) and Sarah Caron (9:00) will be in our studios on June 11th.

We round out the interviews with city council candidate Bruce Buhler on June 14th (8:30). 

Election Day is June 15th at the Watertown Civic Arena.

Early voting began Friday and continues, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through June 14th. There is no early voting today due to the Memorial Day holiday.
