KS93 & Taco John’s Athletes of the Week – March 2, 2020

Cooper Heiser of Arrow Basketball and Alec Dobson of Kingsbury County Wrestling were voted the New Country KS93 and Watertown Taco John’s Athletes of the Week. Heiser for Watertown Sports and Dobson for Regional Sports.

They each won 5 free small combo meals from Taco John’s in Watertown. Certificates will be mailed to the winners school.

The nominees for this week include for the Watertown Arrow athletics:

Ty Althoff – Watertown Wrestling
Took home the state championship in the 132 pound at the Class A State Wrestling Tournament

Owen McBride – Laker Hockey
Stopped 77 of 88 shots on goal in route to 3 Laker wins Feb 28 – March 1

Abby Bramer – Arrow Basketball
Scored 11 points in the Arrow loss at Huron February 28th

Nominees for Regional Sports:

Gunnar Kvistad – Clark/Willow Lake Wrestling
Took home 2nd place in the 106 pound at the Class B Wrestling Tournament

Cael Larson – Webster Wrestling
Took home 2nd place in the 113 pound at the Class B Wrestling Tournament

Alec Dobson – Kingsbury County Wrestling
Took home 5th place in the 138 pound at the Class B Wrestling Tournament
