Due to the winter storm and the Christmas holiday, we have no winners this week for the New Country KS93 & Watertown Taco John’s Athletes of the Week.

The nominees for this week include for the Watertown Arrow athletics:

Jaclyn Lloyd – Laker Hockey
Scored all four of the Laker goals in a win over Oahe January 5th

Brandon Smith – Arrow Basketball
Scored 23 points, going 9 of 13 from the line and 5 of 9 from three point land in a win at Pierre January 3rd.

Conner Bramer – Laker Hockey
Scored 2 goals and added 3 assists in a win over Oahe on January 4th

Nominees for Regional Sports:

Kalen Garry – DeSmet Basketball
Dropped 30 points in a win over Arlington January 3rd

Stone Burke – Clark/Willow Lake Basketball
Scored 21 points and grabbed 9 boards in the Cyclones come back win over Hamlin January 2nd

Andy Johnson – Webster Wrestling
Took the 138 pound title at his home invite on January 4th
