Johnson talks shoring up US Postal Service

WASHINGTON DC (WNAX) — The US House passed a twenty five-billion-dollar bill this past weekend aimed at shoring up the US Postal Service.

South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson voted against the bill.

Johnson says the Postal Service hasn’t said they need that much money

Johnson says he does want the Postal Service to be able to keep offices in small towns across the state

The Senate will not return to Washington until after Labor Day and there is no certainty the bill will come up for debate.
