Johnson says discussions beginning on new Farm Bill (Audio)

WASHINGTON, D.C.–Following the election earlier this month, Republicans are expected to pick up a few seats on most of the U.S. House committees, including agriculture. That’s according to South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson.

Johnson says they’re already starting discussions to put together the new Farm Bill.

Johnson doesn’t expect any major changes to the crop insurance program as part of the farm bill as He says that program is working well.
