Johnson honoring Ben Reifel with renaming of Rosebud Post Office

WASHINGTON, D.C.–South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson will be in Rosebud this afternoon for a program renaming the post office there after the late Ben Reifel.

Johnson authored a bill to designate the building as the Ben Reifel Post Office. It passed Congress and was signed into law by President Trump.

Reifel was an SDSU graduate who served in World War Two., and later served five terms as a Republican United States Congressman.

The high school gymansium in Sisseton bears his name, Ben Reifel Gymnasium.
