PIERRE, S.D.–Former South Dakota First Lady Jean Rounds died Tuesday.
The wife of former Governor and current U.S. Senator MIke Rounds had been fighting cancer for the past two years.
State Treasurer Josh Haeder came to know Jean Rounds well while working as a staff member for her husband…
In a statement, Senator Mike Rounds said, “The love of my life is with the Lord. No more treatments. No more pain. Just peace.”
Jean Rounds was 65 years old.
