BROOKINGS, S.D. (Brookings Radio) — South Dakota State football coaches are looking to settle some starting spots, and find replacements for others, with a February 19th season opener at Northern Iowa looming.
Three quarterbacks are in the running to start – head coach John Stiegelmeier hopes to announce that person next week:
The Jacks also need to replace receiver Cade Johnson and cornerback Marshon Harris, who are not participating in the spring season:
Stiegelmeier says the Jacks will try to use colder weather to their advantage. But he says wide temperature swings could cause teams to alter their game plans.
