Jacks begin Summit Tournament play today against Kansas City

FARGO, N.D. (GoWatertown.net) — South Dakota State softball will head into the Summit League Softball Tournament in Fargo, North Dakota this week.

The top-seeded Jackrabbits enter the six-team tournament with a 38-5 overall record, which includes a 21-1 mark in the Summit. SDSU earned the first-round bye and will open the tournament today against Kansas City who defeated South Dakota 10-2 in the opening round yesterday. Jacks Coach Krista Wood says they have a simple philosophy going into the tournament:
