ABERDEEN, S.D.–The Brown County Fair is officially cancelled for this year, another summertime event that’s fallen victim to the COVID-19 pandemic.
That decision was made by the Brown County Board of Commissioners Tuesday. It follows a unanimous recommendation of the Brown County Fair Board.

While the commission voted to cancel the fair for 2020, they also passed a motion to authorize a working group to see what kind of community event can be held to replace the fair.
