WATERTOWN, S.D.–Business picked back up at the Codington County Detention Center last year.
Sheriff Brad Howell tells KWAT News the average daily inmate population increased about 15 inmates per day from 2020…..
The sheriff says with more inmates coming through the jail, there were more bookings too….
The detention center is a 96-bed facility for inmates from Codington, Clark, Hamlin, Deuel, and Kingsbury Counties.
