WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Senior Activities Center at 301 East Kemp Avenue is a pile of rubble today.
Demolition crews with heavy equipment were on site today razing the building.
As Watertown Mayor Ried Holien explains, the building needed to go so an adjacent apartment building called, “The Ruins,” and a new downtown park called Foundation Plaza can be built there….
Developer Jesse Craig built a new senior center in Watertown called Generations on First, located just north of the City Auditorium.
