Improvements at Watertown’s Lions Park announced

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department has announced a new trail will be added to Lion’s Park, along with improvements to the existing disc golf course.

The low-maintenance single-track trail will cater to runners, mountain bikers, and those seeking access to fishing opportunities.

The department has also embarked on a redesign of the disc golf course.

“We are thrilled to bring this new trail to our community,” said Dusty Rodiek, Director of Parks and Recreation. Our goal is to provide exceptional outdoor recreational opportunities that align with the desires of our residents and visitors.”

The renovations will include three newly designed holes that extend into the wooded area on the north side of the park.
