Ice fisherman dead of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning

WHITE EARTH, MINN. – Authorities in northwestern Minnesota believe that an ice fisherman died of carbon monoxide poisoning on Norcross Lake.

The White Earth Police Department says 37-year-old Nathan Ray of Borup, Minnesota was found unresponsive in a fish house Saturday and died at the scene.

Officers are reminding anglers to have a carbon monoxide detector in their ice shelter and keep vents clear.
