Hurricane Ida expected to push South Dakota’s gasoline prices higher  (Audio)

BISMARCK, N.D.–A petroleum analyst says we’ll soon see higher gasoline prices, because of Hurricane Ida.

The average price is now a little over $3.00 a gallon.

GasBuddy petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan says because refineries in Louisiana are out of commission because of Ida, that will have  quick and profound impact on the U.S. gasoline supply…

DeHaan says that 5 to 15 cent effect is much less that what was experienced following Hurricane Katrina.
