Huron native is Codington County’s new emergency management director

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Codington County has a new Emergency Management Director.
Huron native Andrew Delgado has been hired to take over the position.
Delgado went to college in Vermillion, and then became a police officer in that city in 2013. He’s also been a member of the South Dakota National Guard since 2006.
Commission Chair Brenda Hanten says 33 people applied for the job, and Delgado was chosen from three finalists.
His first day on the job will be January 3rd.
