Huron moves up its COVID protocols

HURON, S.D. (Performance Radio) — Effective Tuesday, the Huron school district has moved the COVID threshold from green, which is no restrictions, to yellow, where the district operated all of last school year.

This means masks are required during school, and COVID precautions will be observed. Athletics will operate under the same standards of last year, including temp checks before every practice, game, and bus ride, and masks will be worn in the locker room and on bus rides.

For now, masks will not be required for spectators at Huron athletic events, although they are highly recommended.
