HSTRACK: Spartz and McElroy tops at ESD meet

YANKTON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – Watertown track and field would take home two individual championships and eight top-three finishes at the Eastern South Dakota Conference Meet held in Yankton Saturday.
Owen Spartz was the individual medalist in the pole vault while Kate McElroy was the 3200-meter medalist. Other top three results include:

Owen Spartz – Pole Vault – 1st (15’ 5)
Cole Holden – Javelin – 2nd (161.04)
Jaxson Fiechtner – 800 Meter – 3rd (2:01.86)
Collin Dingsor – 300m Hurdles – 3rd (40.84)
Juven Hudson – Triple Jump – 3rd (41’ 5.5)
Girls
Kate McElroy – 3200 Meter – 1st (12:09.72)
Myah Morris – 100m Hurdles – 3rd (15.72)
Trinity Hodorff – Pole Vault – 2nd (10.00)
