HSTENNIS: Arrows take two of three at Huron quad

HURON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow boys tennis took two of the three matches on Saturday at the Huron Quadrangular.

The purple and gold would open the day with a 5-4 win over Pierre.  Mark Mahowald, Evan Meester, and Jadon Lindner would take home singles victories while the teams of Mahowald/Curtis Sneden and Linder/Zandar Binde would take home the doubles wins.

Match two was an 8-1 W over Huron for the Arrows.  Singles victories would go to Paul Vocu, Sneden, Meester, Jack Sjoberg, Lindner, and Binde while the doubles wins would go to the teams of Vocu/Sjoberg and Lindner/Binde.

Watertown would fall in the final match of the day to Sioux Falls Lincoln 9-0 to finish the quad with a record of 3-2.

Next up for Watertown boys tennis is a tri with Milbank and Sioux Falls Jefferson on April 12th.
