WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrow sports season begins this weekend as high school soccer hits the road for a weekend series at Rapid City.

The Watertown boys squad has a new leader this season as Watertown graduate Jesse Hauck takes the helm. Hauck will take over a program that saw a lot of youth receive playing time last year en reroute to a 2-10 finish. Hauck talks about this year’s squad:

The Watertown Arrow girls soccer program saw a quarterfinal playoff exit last season and finished with an 8-8 record. Just like the boys, the Arrow girls also have a new leader this year with Watertown graduate Emily Trupe. Trupe’s history with the Arrows runs deep:

The Watertown girls and boys soccer programs will travel to Rapid City this weekend to face Central tonight (Friday) and Stevens on Saturday.
