MITCHELL, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow gymnastics will head to the state meet this Friday and Saturday.

The Arrows hope to contend again at the state meet and Coach Vicky Fisher thinks her team has yet to peak:

Watertown will take a full squad of nine girls which includes Myah Morris (SR), Dawson Briggs (SR), Trinity Hodorff (SR), Caroline Benson (JR), Kinsley Van Gilder (SOPH), Kaitlynn Rudebusch (SOPH), Natalie Benson (FRESH), Briana McElhany (07), and Ashleyn Andrews (07).

Coming into the weekend meet, Coach Fisher says the strong points of the Arrows is their strength as a team and the floor exercise:

Watertown will be contending for a team title this season with a squad they have been chasing all year, the defending champion Mitchell.  The Kernels will be hosting the event this year.  Coach Fischer talks about Mitchell and other AA teams who will compete:

The State AA Gymnastics Meet will be held Friday and Saturday at the Corn Palace.  The team competitions will be held on Friday while the individual will take place on Saturday.
