HSGOLF: Two teams of Arrows compete at home invite

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – Watertown would compete two teams at their home invitational on Tuesday held at Cattail Crossing.

The team of Riley Zebroski, Shelby Pearson, Natalie Pearson, and Jordyn Geerdes finished third with a score of 365. The team of Maia VanLaecken, Ellie Zink, Rylie Redlin, and Avery Palmquist finished in sixth place with a 395.

Individually for the Arrows, Zebrsoki carded a 79 to lead the purple and gold golfers with a fourth-place finish, Shelby Pearson shot a 94, Van Laecken and Natalie Pearson each with a 95, Geerdes and Zink with a 97, Redlin 100, Palmquist and Samantha Anderson 103, Aspen Reynolds 104, Hannah Loeher 119.

Harrisburg’s Reese Jansa was the individual medalist with a 74, and Aberdeen claimed the team title with a 323.

Next up for Watertown girls golf is the Brookings Invite May 19th.
