BROOKINGS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – Watertown Arrow football suffered a 26-6 loss to rival Brookings Friday night at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.

The only scoring for Watertown came on a 27 yard field goal at 5:08 in the second quarter. Watertown only racked up 189 total yards, 140 of those on the ground and turned over the ball twice in the contest.

Juven Hudson led the ground attack with 19 carries for 77 yards. Alex Kahre went 4-9 for 43 yards through the air and had one pick.

Kahre also carried the ball five times for 23 yards. Ashton First In Trouble hauled in two receptions for 21 yards.

On defense, Owen Spartz had five solo tackles, Jake Robel also had five solo tackles and two assisted, Alex Johnson also had five tackles, one assisted.

Watertown (0-1) will come home to face Huron this Friday.
