WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – Tied at 43 with 18 seconds left, Watertown girls basketball would steal the Huron inbounds pass and seal the fate of the Tigers in a 47-43 win Tuesday at the Huron Arena.

Jaida Young led the scoring attack for Watertown with 12 points, six of those from the charity stripe, three steals, and four assists. Kendall Paulson contributed nine on three of six shooting from the field and Maddy Rohde added eight points, eight boards, and three steals.

Huron was led by Hamtyn Heinz with 14.

On the boys side, a 27 point performance from Drew Norberg would lead Watertown past Huron 59-44. Norberg would go nine of 15 from the field, six of seven from the line and have three blocks. Devon Lewis added nine, and Reese Stark added seven. Mack Johnson grabbed nine boards.

With 20 points, Huron was led by Reilyn Zavesky.
