SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – Watertown Boys Basketball put themselves in position at the end of the game but Arrow miscues in the final seconds would send Sioux Falls Washington to a 68-64 win Friday night.

Drew Norberg put on a show with a 28 point night on 10 of 17 shooting from the field and five of six from three-point land. Reese Stark followed behind with 14 points, Devon Lewis notched nine points, all of them three’s in the second half.

Sioux Falls Washington was led by Mikele Kombalo with 37 points.

Watertown would outrebound Washington 31-14.

On the girls side, Watertown would shoot 12 percent from the field in a 50-19 loss to number two Sioux Falls Washington.

With nine points, Jaida Young would lead the Arrow scoring. Young would dish one assist and grab two steals. Emery Thury added five points off the bench.

The Warriors were led by Ndjakalenga Mwenetanda with 17 points and 11 boards.

The Watertown girls drop to 8-7 while the boys fall to 6-8 and both will face Sioux Falls Jefferson on February 8th.
