WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – A strong third quarter would power Sioux Falls O’Gorman past Watertown 60-49 in high school boys basketball Friday night.

Leading 29-26 at the half, the Arrows would suffer another third-quarter collapse being outscored 21-7. The Arrows were led by Drew Norberg with 21 points on seven of 14 shooting from the field. Reese Stark would add ten, Kohen Ranz with seven and Mack Johnson and Devon Lewis with four points each.

The Watertown girls would suffer their first defeat of the season at the hand of number three Sioux Falls O’Gorman 61-33. The Arrows would shoot 22 percent from the field in the contest. Jaida Young would lead the purple and gold scoring with 11 points, Kendall Paulson and Jade Lund each added eight, and Maddy Rohde finished the night with six.

The Watertown girls fall to 5-1 and come home to face Yankton on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Arrow boys move to 1-5 and travel to Yankton on Friday at 7 p.m. Brent Nathaniel will have coverage of both games on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net/Arrows.
