WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Sioux Falls Jefferson would go on a 9-0 run in the second quarter and Watertown played catchup all night a 64-55 win Tuesday night in high school boys basketball.

Three Arrows reached the double figures led by Drew Norberg with 23 points on nine of 20 shooting from the field and a perfect four of four from the line. Devon Lewis followed behind with 12 points and knocked down two of six from three-point land and had one steal. Reese Stark added 11 and grabbed five boards.

Three Cavaliers notched double figures led by Kaden Year with 21.

On the girls’ side, Sioux Falls Jefferson would walk away with a 51-42 victory over Watertown.

The purple and gold were led by Jaida Young with a double, double, 14 points and 15 boards. Grace Corey added 10 points and grabbed eight boards, Maddy Rohde and Emery Thury each tallied six points.

With 14 points, Cierra Watkins was Jefferson’s leading scorer.

The Watertown girls slip to 8-8 while the guys fall to 6-9 and both will face Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Friday. Boys at the Roughriders on 950 KWAT while the girls at home on New Country KS93.
