HS TENNIS: Sneden places fifth, Meester sixth at State AA Tennis

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown would place eighth as a team with a score of 83 at the 2021 Class AA Boys State Tennis Tournament held in Sioux Falls. 

In singles competition day two, Jacob Meester would fall to Tanner Schultz of Brandon Valley (10-4) in the consolation semifinals of flight three to end his season.

Curtis Sneden would defeat Henry Fouberg of Aberdeen (10-5) in the consolation semifinals of flight five and down Jacob Morgans of Sioux Falls Washington (10-6) to take home a fifth-place trophy.  

Evan Meester would down Jaxon Hunter of Harrisburg (10-2) in the consolation semis but fall to Cole Murray of Brandon Valley in the finals (10-7) to place sixth.  

In day two doubles competition, the flight two team of Jacob Meester and Adam Kays would fall to the team from Brandon Valley (10-1) to end their year in the consolation semifinals. 

In flight three doubles, Evan Meester and Curtis Sneeden would fall to the team from Brandon Valley (10-5) in the consolation semis to end their year.
