WATERTOWN, S.D.–Ried Holien scored a convincing win this week in Watertown’s race for mayor.
Holien gained about 71-percent of the vote in an emphatic victory over Mayor Sarah Caron….
Holien’s job as mayor will be a part-time position, as incoming City Manager Amanda Mack will run the day-to-day operations of Watertown city government.
That means Holien will take on more of a public relations role, selling Watertown to potential new businesses and people.
