WATERTOWN, S.D.–The search for a new Watertown City Hall is over.
The city council, on a 6-1 vote Monday night, agreed to spend $4.2 million to remodel and expand the former Wells Fargo Bank building on Maple Street in downtown Watertown which will serve as the hub of city operations.
The city purchased that building in November 2020 for $1.3 million.

The contractor on the project will be the low bidder, Huff Construction of Aberdeen.
