WATERTOWN, S.D.–The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of two people killed in separate vehicle crashes in northeast South Dakota recently.

Twenty year-old Jordan Hamann of Raymond was killed Friday when the vehicle he was driving crashed eight miles northwest of Clark.

Hamann lost control, went into the ditch and the vehicle rolled. He died at the scene.

A Dayton, Minnesota woman was killed Friday morning in a crash between a car and semi on U.S. Highway 12, two-and-a-half miles west of Waubay.

Sixty one year-old Cynthia Elledge was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi was driven by a Timber Lake man who sustained minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol says Elledge was westbound, crossed the center line, and collided with the eastbound semi.
