High school sports in South Dakota postponed till April 5th

PIERRE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The South Dakota High School Activities Association continues to postpone and cancel events due to the COVID19 outbreak.

The state basketball tournaments and visual arts competitions continue to remain postponed/suspended.  One update is that All-State Band and Region Music Contests have now been postponed rather than cancelled.  Student Council remains cancelled.

Spring sports in South Dakota are now on hiatus till April 5, 2020.

In an email to administrators the South Dakota High School Activities Association says they will continue to monitor what his happening within the state as it pertains to the outbreak.
