Lucas Kannegieter knocked in four RBI’s in Clark/Willow Lake’s 16-4 win over Webster on Saturday. Hudson Fuller pitched four innings for the Cyclones issuing eight strikeouts. Clark/Willow Lake improves to 2-1 and heads to Elkton on April 30th. Webster fell to 0-2.
Redfield put down nine hits in a 7-1 win over Hamlin Saturday. Cameran Thue scored the lone RBI for the Chargers. Nicholi Arbach had two hits. Griffin Clubb pitched four innings and issued six strikeouts.
Madison got out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back as the Bulldogs downed Hamlin 9-1 on Sunday. Xander Sheehan collected two of the five hits for the Chargers. In game two of the day, Griffin Clubb put down two hits, Nicholi Arbach had two hits, and an RBI in Hamlin’s 9-5 win over Dell Rapids. Nicholi Arbach pitched six and 2/3 innings fanning six. Hamlin improved to 1-3 and travels to Howard on April 24th.
An eight-run fourth inning would send Canova past Castlewood-Deuel 13-3 on Sunday. Sam Kooima had two hits for Castlewood-Deuel. Castlewood-Deuel would commit four errors in the game. Castlewood-Deuel fell to 1-3 and come home to face Sioux Valley on April 23rd.
