CLEAR LAKE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Deuel would come away with a team victory at their home quad on Tuesday with a team score of 135.900. Britton-Hecla would place second with a 122.250, Sisseton third taking a 111.150, and West Central fourth with a 104.300.
Top local results:
Deuel’s Paige Simon would place first on the vault (9.500), bars (9.600), floor (9.350), and all-around (36.800) fourth on the beam (8.350). The Cardinals Annie Hawley placed first on the beam (9.150), second on the floor (8.950), and all-around (9.150).
Sisseton’s Emma Dahl placed second on the bars (7.550) fifth on the vault (8.500).
Britton-Hecla’s Sterling Mertens would take home second on the beam (8.550), third on the bars (7.450).
