PIERRE, S.D.–Governor Kristi Noem says South Dakota’s new anti-meth campaign that was rolled out this week was meant to be provocative and get people talking about an important topic.

To that end, it’s been mission accomplished, although many of the comments have not been flattering.

The campaign, dubbed, “Meth, We’re On It” is getting nationwide media coverage.

The governor talked about it in an interview with Fox News…..

Noem says meth addiction is a problem the state cannot ignore, but in some cases, that’s been happening….

A Minneapolis ad agency developed the anti-meth campaign. The president of the agency says its generating a lot of conversation and making some people uncomfortable, but she says discomfort causes change and demands action.
