WATERTOWN, S.D.–A go fund me page has been set up for a Watertown woman who sustained life-threatening injuries in a car versus moped accident Monday night.

The go fund me page says 21 year-old Bella Hatch was on her way home from work when she was struck by a car at the intersection of Highway 81 and Arrow Avenue.

Bella was just two blocks from home when it happened. She was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital, and then airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital with multiple skull fractures.

She’s undergone surgery for a bleed on her brain, and also sustained a punctured lung, and is in a medically induced coma.

She’s engaged, and is scheduled to be married on September 4th.

The Watertown man driving the car who struck her was cited for Failure To Yield.
