GBB: Waverly/South Shore remains perfect with win over Milbank

MILBANK, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Waverly/South Shore remains perfect on the year with a 47-34 win over Milbank in high school girls basketball Tuesday night.

The Coyote’s Emily Kranz lead all scoring with 24 points on 12 of 14 shooting from the field and grabbed seven boards. Breanna Breske, Brooklyn Kranz, and Carley Heuer would each add seven.

Maurina Street would lead the scoring column for the Bulldogs with 13 points, going five of 15 from the field, three of four from the line, and nabbed nine boards. Tyra Berry would add 12 points on the night.

Milbank falls to 2-6 and faces Hamlin on January 14th at home. Waverly/South Shore improves to 7-0 and travels to Wilmot on January 14th.
