GBB: Team effort helps Arrows almost upset number five Brandon Valley

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown threw everything they had at number five Brandon Valley Monday night but in the end, the Lynx would come away victorious in the closing minutes 50-47.

Jaida Young would lead the Watertown scoring with 13 points on six of 12 shooting from the field and would grab six boards. Abby Bramber would add 12 points on five of 10 shooting from the field. Maggie Heesch would contribute 10 points and grab five boards. Olivia Corey tallied eight points and snagged nine boards. Maddy Rohde would end the night with four points.

With 19 points, Hilary Behrens led the Lynx and all scorers.

Watertown falls to 5-14 and finishes out their regular season at home Thursday night against Huron. The girls will play game one of a doubleheader with the boys beginning at 6 p.m. Todd Enderson will have coverage of both games on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net/Arrows.
