GBB: Sisseton escapes Tiospa Zina with a win

AGENCY VILLAGE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Sisseton escaped Tiospa Zina with a 59-54 win Monday night in high school girls basketball.

The Redmen were led by two freshmen in double figures. Chloe Langager tallied 16 points while Emmalee Nielsen added 13. Hailey Nelson contributed eight points.

Omariya Bernard would lead the Wambdi with 24 points. Maria Gallardo would add nine.

Tiospa Zina falls to 0-7 and travels to Clark/Willow Lake tonight (January 26th). Sisseton improves to 7-4 and faces Florence/Henry at home January 28th.
