GBB: Castlewood remains perfect with win over Wolsey-Wessington

WOLSEY, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Number two Castlewood remains perfect on the year with a 68-31 win over Wolsey-Wessingston Thursday night in high school girls basketball.
Alayna Benike would have a monster night for Castlewood with a 29 point performance. The senior would go seven of eight from the field, five of six from three-point land, and dish five assists. Mackenzie Everson would tally 15 points and Maddie horn would add 11.
Wolsey-Wessington was led by Leah Williams with 15 points.
The Warbirds fall to 8-7 and travel to Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on February 6th. Castlewood improves to 12-0 and heads to DeSmet on February 8th.
