GBB: Carlson’s big night clears the way for Arlington

ARLINGTON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Arlington girls basketball defeated DeSmet Thursday night by a final of 43-37.

Hadley Carlson would lead the Cardinals and all scorers with 15 points, six of 14 shooting from the field, two of four from three-point land, and would grab 4 boards. Addalyn Steffensen, Jolyssa Steffensen, and Brenley Gobel would tally six points each.

Camryn Schmidt’s 11 points would lead the Bulldogs. Schmidt would go three of six from the field and five of seven from the line. Kennadi Buchholz would add a double-double, ten points, and fourteen boards.

DeSmet falls to 5-4 and travels to James Valley Christian on January 11th. Arlington improves to 4-2 and remains home to face Deuel on January 12th.
