BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Belle Fourche used their height and physicality to power past Watertown 52-39 in high school girls basketball on Saturday.

The Arrows were led by Jaida Young with 12 points six boards and seven steals. Maddy Rohde and Emery Thury each added eight.

With 16 points, the Broncs were led by Mataya Ward.

Belle Fourche outshot Watertown in the contest from the field, 51 percent to 25 percent.

Watertown falls to 8-5 and travels to Sioux Falls Lincoln on Tuesday.  Todd Enderson will have coverage on New Country KS93.
