GBB: Arrows lose heartbreaker at Mitchell

MITCHELL, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Number five Mitchell overcame an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to best Watertown 41-40 in high school girls basketball Friday night.
Two players lead the scoring column for the Arrows. Abby Bramer tallied 11 points on five of 10 shooting from the field, grabbed three boards, and stole the ball twice. Maddy Rohde also came away with 11 points on the night on four of six shooting from the field and would go three of four from downtown. Olivia Corey would add six and Maggie Heesch with five.
Sawyer Stoebner and Macy Kempf led the scoring for Mitchell with 10 points each.
Watertown falls to 2-8 and travels to Brandon Valley for a makeup game on January 26th. Todd Enderson will have coverage on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net/Arrows.
