Former Watertown schoolteacher sentenced for rape

BROOKINGS, S.D.–A former Watertown schoolteacher and coach has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a 15 year-old student in Brookings.
Thirty three year-old Jordan Bakken was sentenced this week under the terms of a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Bakken pleaded guilty to one count of rape. All other charges were dismissed.
