Former Minnesota Viking Ben Leber signs on as spokesman for Watertown CVB marketing campaign

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker and Vermillion native Ben Leber will be endorsing Watertown as part of a 2020 marketing campaign.
The campaign will launch soon, with a lucky listener getting the chance to win a South Dakota pheasant hunt near Watertown with Leber.
The campaign will run through January, targeting visitors in North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and the gr eater Denver and Chicago metropolitan areas.
The $130,000 campaign is a cooperative effort between the Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Watertown Business Improvement District, with a matching grant from the South Dakota Department of Tourism.
Leber, who spent ten season in the NFL with the Vikings, San Diego and St. Louis, is curently a Minneapolis-based radio personality.
