Former Aberdeen City Manager leaves lastest job saying it was, “not a good fit”

MARSHALLTOWN, Ia.–The former Aberdeen city manager who left that job just a few months ago has resigned from his most recent position.
The city of Marshalltown, Iowa, announced that city administrator Joe Gaa has stepped down.
Gaa announced he was leaving his position in Aberdeen back in August.
In a news release, Gaa said he and city officials were “not a good fit for each other.”
A special city council meeting is being held to find a replacement.
