FOOTBALL: Watertown grabs homecoming win over Aberdeen

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Drew Norberg would throw for 248 yards and a touchdown in a 30-0 homecoming win over Aberdeen Friday night.

Norberg would go 14-16 through the air and toss a TD pass of 25 yards to Reese Stark and carry the ball 34 times and one touchdown of seven yards. Norberg would also chuck two interceptions.

Juven Hudson carried 20 times for 82 yards and cross the goal line one time. Owen Spartz ran for 55 yards on 5 carries and one TD. Colin Dingsor had five receptions for 125 yards.

The offense never got going for Aberdeen. Karson Carda carried 14 times for 62 yards and Sam Rohlfs went 6-8 through the air for 69 yards and tossed two INT’s.

Watertown improves to 3-3 and travels to Pierre next Friday night. 950 KWAT will join that game in progress following the conclusion of the East/West Volleyball Tournament. Aberdeen falls to 3-3 and travels to Tea Area.
