SISSETON, S.D.–The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office took to social media Tuesday to report high water problems in the county.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said a NO TRAVEL advisory was posted for the town of Corona and all of Garfield Township, which were being inundated by flooding.

Flooding was also being reported in the town of Wilmot, although the sheriff’s office said it was being contained to certain roadways such as 4th Avenue and 4th Street.

Authorities said most roads in southern Roberts County were becoming covered with water, or had already been washed out.
