Flemmer chosen to lead Saints

ABERDEEN, SD – Trevor Flemmer has been chosen as the new Men’s Basketball coach at Presentation College. Flemmer is a graduate of Presentation College, and played on the Saints men’s basketball team from 2012 to 2016.

Flemmer, a Mitchell, SD native, joins the Saints after spending four seasons at Dakota State University. He spent the first three years with the Trojans as an assistant coach, and was named the associate head coach for this past season. Additionally, he was the head coach of the Trojans’ junior varsity team.

As a player at Presentation College, Flemmer appeared in 56 games, starting 26 of them. He averaged 3.5 points per game, and 2.8 rebounds per game. He was named the NSAA Champion of Character award winner during the 2015-2016 season. Flemmer graduated from Presentation College with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.

Prior to his time at Dakota State, Flemmer was a graduate assistant at Briar Cliff University during the 2017-2018 season when the Chargers made it to the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Tournament quarterfinals. Before that he was an assistant coach at Riverland Community College in Austin, MN.
