WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Volunteer Center (WVC) has a new director.

Miranda Fenner (pictured) replaces longtime director Char Torgerson, who recently retired.

The Watertown Volunteer Center works with local non-profits to mobilize volunteers and resources to help the community of Watertown.

“Although I am relatively new to the Watertown community, I know how many great things are happening here, and I am excited to be a part of it. The Volunteer Center has served the
Watertown community for many years and I look forward to continuing to help meet the needs of our community,” said Fenner

In addition to the new leadership, the Watertown Volunteer Center also has a new location. Now at 1 East Kemp Avenue in Downtown Watertown, the WVC is located within the Watertown Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCVB).

In addition to furthering the WVC efforts, Fenner will work closely with the WCVB in its business development and marketing efforts.
